Warwickshire-based machine tool supplier Engineering Technology Group (ETG) has recently invested heavily into a striking new website, bespoke online machine configurator and supportive app to accommodate for recent and further forecasted sales growth.ETG New Website

As the leading machine tool and turnkey solution provider in the UK and Ireland, ETG is renowned for providing pioneering CNC solutions, proven to increase manufacturing productivity and efficiency, whilst holding stock from some of the world’s leading machine tool manufacturers.

Working closely with Warwick-based media agency Formation Media, ETG sought to extend the functionality and look of the website to support both clients and their sales team as the business continues to grow.

The new, fully responsive, state-of-the-art website features their recently modernised branding and reflects their growing success.

Undertaking advanced and innovative usability and user experience exercises over the course of several months, Formation web developers worked closely with ETG management to ensure the new website is as optimised and cutting-edge as possible.

Managing Director Martin Doyle commented; ‘We’re a forward-thinking company and need to be ahead of the curve in technology, while serving our customers with added value, so a digital strategy was identified, and am very happy to say now implemented, it’s a tremendous improvement, this entire digitisation reflects our services and success.’

Information on associates is now centrally located on the main ETG website, alongside information on their technical partners, their extensive range of products and newly developed machine tool configurator.

The custom-built CNC Machine Tool Configurator echoes the businesses impressive equipment offering and enables clients to easily configure machines to their desired specification online whilst browsing the multiple levels of the turn-key solutions offered by ETG.

Presented to the ETG sales team on the 29th March by the Formation marketing team, the configurator will streamline a previously lengthy sales process – dramatically reducing a machine tool quotation from typically six weeks to a staggering fifteen minutes, whilst with the client.

Martin Gordon, MD of Formation was thrilled with the presentation and reception from the ETG sales team, ‘Although we have worked with ETG for nearing a decade, in support of its marketing, the existing website had grown to over 1000 pages of content, and became somewhat tired, Martin Doyle is always pushing us to break boundaries, and this website and its supportive software certainly does that, its functionality is second to none in the manufacturing sector.’

ETG has strategically taken a smaller presence at MACH 2018 this year to focus on their digital investment and development and will be looking to take their new machine configuration software on the road later this year with numerous ‘Technical Academy’ events.
