Machine Tool Giant Expands in Warwickshire

ETG (1) (2)The Engineering Technology Group, a leading independent UK distributor of premium global branded machine tools, is opening a new facility in Wellesbourne, near Warwick. The group is moving various operations to the new site, and re-locating about 20 personnel there from their other premises in Southam and Coventry. Managing director John Temple said: “This latest investment in new premises continues the growth and development of ETG and offers customers an even more improved and streamlined new machine installation procedure. “With our pre-delivery inspection and turnkey engineering teams now working together under one roof the combination of resources from two split locations will make the operation smoother and more efficient for the benefit of customers.”

The acquisition of the new premises was facilitated by Leamington-based property consultants ehB Commercial, whose director Simon Hain advised ETG on the design and build of its Southam headquarters 12 years ago. He also advised the company on this latest expansion and handled the acquisition of the new 17,500 sq.ft. facility on the Wellesbourne Distribution Park.
In addition to pre-delivery inspection and turnkey operations, the site will also house the service and spares operations and a dedicated undercover reception area for new machine tools arriving from around the globe.
