New sales appointments at ETG

The Southam based Engineering Technology Group has announced two new sales appointments which includes an on-the-ground presence in Scotland for the first time. Jamie O’Hare and Mark Drummond have joined the ETG UK sales team to cover Scotland and the South East respectively.   Jamie (39) is fulfilling the newly created role of Regional Sales Manager for Scotland with a brief to develop sales across the country. Until now ETG has not had a dedicated sales presence in Scotland but recognises the significant potential for its range on turning, milling and turn-key machining centres in the diverse manufacturing environment across the country. He joins ETG having previously worked on sales with Vargus, the thread turning, thread milling and deburring tooling specialist. A time served turner by trade be moved through the ranks into CNC and multi-tasking machines before moving into sales. Married with three children, he is centrally located in Airdrie although his brief covers all of Scotland. In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym, a round of golf and mountain biking. Mark Drummond (45) joins as ETG’s new South East Regional Sales Manager and has considerable experience which he will be putting to good use in developing sales in the region. A toolmaker by trade, Mark was previously working for Jemtech UK selling their Blaser engineering lubricants and associated products. Prior to that he worked for Walter Tooling, part of the global Sandvik Group. In his spare time Mark enjoys family life with his three children and is a keen rugby support (of Harlequins). He used to play but has swopped the rough and tumble of the scrum for a more leisurely pursuit of keeping marine fish.
