The ETG office and showroom in Ireland is now well advanced with the demonstration machines ready for installation.
As Director and General Manager Jamie Fletchmoore explains, “such has been the success of the sales in recent times – particularly Nakamura machines – that all efforts have been concentrated on installation work with customers.
“Ireland has become a Nakamura success story; a heavily customised Nakamura NTY3 250 is about to be delivered to THK U.K. who are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of ball screws and rotary screws for the world’s major machine tool builders. This machine features a special triple turret and gantry system and has been the subject of extensive trials and proving in Southam before delivery.
Another Nakamura will be delivered into Derry Precision by the end of October with both machines following a successful installation at Slaney Precision 2 months ago.
“It’s been all systems go,” Jamie adds “and these early successes are hopefully fore runners of more ETG success across Ireland.
The THK machine has been in Southam undergoing customisation and PDI preparation with Darren Halligan, a recently appointed applications engineer from our Irish base, one of the team undertaking some of the many tasks.
